Beer is made by boiling barley malt with water and hops. In ancient Egypt, beer was an integral part of the daily diet. Around 3,000 BC, Egyptians were making three kinds of beer. Pharaoh used to give four loaves of bread and two pints of beer to any worker in the production of beer as a daily allowance. There are old records which show that mothers in ancient Egypt had the custom to bring beer to school to their children. One of the Egyptian ruler Ramses III argued that the gods intended 466 303 pints of beer.
Throughout history, different types of beers or drinks like beer, were produced worldwide. In China, they produced beverages like beer 2,000 years BC. They called this drink “beak”. Incas, Native American made drinks “cycle” and “proportionate” by boiling cereals, long before the Europeans discovered the continent.
Out of all stored records can confidently say that all the old people who lived in climates where they could grow some cereals, made and knew some kind of beer. The ancient Greeks and Romans also made beer. In the Middle century, beer was almost the rule in every household. Brewing skills was significantly developed in each monastery grounds. Some monasteries used to have several breweries.
